Family Man: Happily married since 1980, David and Abby are most proud of their three children now pursuing their own careers. Abby, Sophie and Louisa are all working on the campaign team, while Noel trains as a Navy diver.
Doctor: David's ten years as head of Primary Care at the Veterans Administration, including seven at the Prescott VA, dealing with medical, personnel and budget issues and ensuring good coverage for patients, position him as a leading resource for Congress when practical expertise is needed most.
Entrepreneur: As a founder of three companies doing international business, David is keenly aware of how difficult it can be to start, grow and sustain a small business in our competitive global marketplace. It’s one thing to work for a company, another altogether to build one from scratch. In Congress, David can speak the language of business from firsthand experience.
Teacher: David’s classroom experience during his postgraduate years give him on-the-ground insight into the challenges teachers face every day and their value as professionals.
Pragmatist: “I am running for Congress to represent Independents, Democrats, Republicans, Greens and Libertarians. I am running for Congress to represent high school seniors as well as senior citizens; veterans and civilians; patients and doctors; small farm owners and large industries. I am running for Congress because the “cut-and-spend” approach of diminished government is not serving our citizens well and it is paramount that we create a Congress that can work together for the benefit of the all people of this country.” — David Brill, MD
